SIB Swiss Institute of Bioinformatics supports specialised training in bioinformatics, a field that is expanding and evolving quickly. An electronic solution reaches a wider audience and e-content is easily updated. It benefits students and scientists. Our solution implements a pedagogy that reflects good practices for applying acquired knowledge and interpreting -omics large-scale studies.

This website includes the description of the commonly used bioinformatics resources and provides different types of learning activities to raise awareness and acquire skills in efficiently searching databases and running software.
